Announcing River Climate action from Rushing Rivers Institute

By Rushing Rivers Institute

Scientists have agreed that climate change is a real situtation. Even the most moderate scientists predict show the Earth's temperature increasing at least several degrees Celsius by the year 2100, which is a drastic increase. Receiving some of the worst affects from this are our world's Rivers.

In this all-important bodies of water reside fish, the canary in the coal mine of global warming. As a result of climate change, river water temperatures have steadily risen thirty-five to forty degrees over the last few decades. This causes fish from southern waters to migrate north, causing competition for food.

At the same time in some parts of the globe, airborne parasites preferring warmer areas are moving northbound similar to the fish migration habitats. Once there, they begin infecting fish that do not have the natural immunities required to defend against them. This results in a decreasing food supplyfor other animals that depend on the fish, such as humans, bears and birds.

Consequently, River Climate Action has been announced by Rushing Rivers Institute. Drawing on their scientific expertise, community relations and belief in educational resources, River Climate Action will call upon a global river authority to take a stand against Global Warming

Several goals are in place to see this through. First, research is being preformed to determine the best course of action to resolve the problem. Second, the best way to implement those actions Third, networking between other groups committed to the same issue.

The worst thing anyone can do is nothing Any further delaying of solutions will cause catastrophic consequences in the future for those who inherit this problem The first action is to educate yourself on the problem and its solutions.

Rushing Rivers strongly urges you to take the time to review the situation. You can visit our website at http://www.riverclimate.org to read further on the problem. With your help, rectifying the issue will no longer be delayed. - 16928
