TRUE Wholesale Sources are the Key to a Successful eBay Business

By Johnathan Z Moore

Starting a eBay business is a relatively simple process. Account setup is even a simple procedure. Typically, the initial products you sell are found around the home and garage. At some point your initial "stock" of products is gone, and your internet "Garage Sale" is over.

Now, you have reached the crossroads of your eBay journey.

Scenario 1: Do you drive around all weekend (wasting gasoline and time) looking for garage sales, trying to find some items to sell from your eBay account? Although some eBayers do find some great bargains to capitalize on eBay, this is not the method I would recommend to start off with. Do you check the search engines, take Google for example. If you search "Wholesalers", you will come up with over 22 million sites claiming "Wholesale" status (here is a tip, the majority are not wholesalers). You take a stab, and sign up with someone calling themselves a wholesaler. Now you notice that you are purchasing items from your wholesaler and finding it listed cheaper on eBay, how is that possible?

Unfortunately many of those calling themselves "Wholesalers" are not True "Wholesalers". It is very difficult and costly sometimes, to find a true wholesale source. Those claiming "wholesale" status are merely retailers, offering a discount for their items, but not True Wholesale pricing, thus you, the buyer, is losing great amounts of profit in the process.

Scenario 2: What if you were to work with a "Real" Wholesaler, offering products at the proper price levels giving you maximum profits with each sale. Even finding sources that will dropship products for you. Do you really want to tie up thousands of dollars in product?

Keeping an inventory of product is not the path to take when starting out. Dropshipping is ideal. With dropship, you list the product (not purchased yet), sell the product, notify the dropshipper, they will ship out the product from their location directly to your customer, your job is to count the profit.

The scenarios listed above, Scenario 1 will give up, saying it is not possible to have a viable business on eBay, "I Tried It!". Scenario 2 has credible sources, and is taking advantage of using a "True" wholesaler, and Dropshipping items for Powerseller Success.

Do your homework and be a student of the business and you'll have Powerseller status in no time. Please do a Google Search for "Johnathan Z Moore" and read my other articles for success. - 16928
