As much as some would like to bill it as otherwise, Internet Marketing is more an art than a science. And for the vast majority of those that get involved it is a process of learning and mastering various skills -- especially in the beginning when you may find yourself becoming the jack-of-all-trades in your business because you lack the resources (aka money) to out-source. In most cases this process takes some time and more than a little effort " as well as some trial-and-error. This is where your Mind-Set, your attitude comes in to play.
I personally believe that most people fail " or quit " as Internet Marketers before they even get started. Thanks to the way business opportunities are usually marketed on the Internet, virtually everyone that tries their hand at Internet Marketing starts out with unreal expectations. Don't get me wrong; you can -- and will (if you stick with it) -- make a lot of money, perhaps even get wealthy through your Internet Business. But you're NOT going to do that by signing up with some program and doing nothing. Soon most beginners discover that all the hype they bought into was just that: hype. At this point they either quit (and tell themselves -- and anyone else that will listen -- it was all a scam), or they have a BIG desire for success and they dig in and learn what they need to do . . . and begin to take action on it.
To become a successful Internet Marketer, you need to nurture a mind-set of abundance; an expectation of success.
