FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Overwhelmed with grief after a devastating break up with Sarah, a television actor, Peter (Jason Segal) decides to take a vacation to the Hawaiian Islands to get over his misery. Of course, upon checking into the resort, he runs into his ex and her new lover, a rock star super stud. The stage is set for a classic romantic comedy.
GET SMART: Maxwell Smart, as agent 86, makes a return to the big screen, "and loving it". The classic James Bond spy spoof, agents hidden in plants, and all the great one liners. This is a modern day version that looks back at the antics of Maxwell Smart.
HAMLET 2: Unsucessful actor Dana Marshz now finds himself teaching theater classes at the high school to students who just don't care. When the high school loses a major building, the school administation feels that the useless theater coarses will be what is dropped. Now fully motivated, he is on a mission to save the program by producing Hamlet 2, an original interpretation of the Shakespeare classic, which is his own work.
MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As you might imagine, this is the sequel to the animated smash hit Madagascar. The small group of animal friends want to go back to the Central Park Zoo, and go back to the lives they know. With things going wrong again, as the Penguins are up to their old tricks, they are off to their true homeland, Africa.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Full time stoner Dale Denton unfortunately has just viewed a bad police officer, and the local drug king pin, kill someone. The killers know he has seen what's gone down. Sure that he has been spotted, he is so shaken he throws down his joint, a rare blend namend pineapple express, and gets away fast. The pot is so unique, that the bad guys can. The chase is on, as Dale and his dealer Saul are deparately hidding from the bad guys.
ROLE MODELS: Danny and Wheeler, a couple of energy drink promoters, are going to see some hard jail time after trashing the company truck. The way they can avoid serving jail time is to perform 150 hours of community service. Their task will be to work as mentors with difficult children as sort of a big brother. Let the fun begin.
STEP BROTHERS: When two 40 year olds, who each live with their single parents, are now going to share a room because their parents have wed, you can only imagine the mess. Casting John Reilly and Will Ferrell playing the parts, and the conditions are right for a funny movie. This film is a best bet for a good laugh in 2008.
TROPIC THUNDER: With a star studded cast we soon see this movie is a classic spoof. To get a realistic performance from the over rated cast of actors to create a quality war film, the frantic, and abused, director Damien Cockburn into the wild, leaving them to fend for themselves. The object is to shock them so they will produce a work of genius, which hidden cameras will capture. Incredibly, because the director blows up on an old French land mine, the crew is left on its own, and they think there acting, but things are getting very, very real. Written, directed, and acted in, by Ben Stiller.
ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: The bills aren't getting paid and Zack and Miri, platonic friends since childhoold, need to come up with some cash soon. The answer? Oh, thats easy, start making pornos. As you might expect this situation makes for a great comedy.
