Many of you might be asking the question "who is Mike Dillard?". Everyone that is part of the internet marketing scene will know who he is. For those of you that don't, he is the creator of Magnetic Sponsoring and many other highly successful marketing programs. Just about everyone in network marketing uses the principles taught by Mike Dillard, if they are serious about succeeding in their business.
If you are not in the network marketing business, then go ahead and replace Mike's name with a top business person that you admire in the same field you are in. I am sure that we would end up with a long list of very successful people in numerous different lines of business.
Let's assume just for now though, that it is Mike Dillard that we all want to be. Now ask yourself the question -- why do I want to be him? What is there about him that would make me want to give up my own identity? Well, the first thing that comes to my mind is that he is super successful at what he does and he is well respected and a very likeable person. He also has a huge following.
But let's just imagine for a moment if we were all clones of Mike Dillard. No disrespect to Mike, but what an absolutely boring world that would be. We as humans thrive on variety in all aspects of our lives. Our favorite food might be lobster, but don't you think that you would get pretty sick of it, if that was the only food for you to eat.
Really, on closer examination, it's not Mike Dillard that we want to be. We actually love being ourselves. What we do want, is to have what Mike has and not to be him personally.
The best part is that we can continue to be ourselves and still have what Mike has. How is this possible? It's possible because the people that we admire are usually more than willing to share their experiences and knowledge with the rest of the World. Sometimes there may be a cost to acquiring this knowledge but quite often they give a lot of information away free of charge. They enjoy giving back to society. Just do a little research and you will find a wealth of information about these people. Study them and find out what they did to reach their goals.
They can't do it for you, but they can show you the way!
Experts tell us that there are so many people out there who are just waiting to meet us. According to the Law of Attraction, we put a vibe out into the Universe, and thereby attract people to us who are on the same 'wavelength'. We are going to be the person that they relate to because of various things we might have in common. Just imagine, if you and Mike were standing side by side and they had to made a choice, they would choose you. This is how the Law of Attraction works.
So let's not waste our time wishing we were someone else. Let's learn from as many people as we can and develop our own identity and uniqueness and we will draw people to us, because we will strike a chord with them.
I am a firm believer in the Law of Abundance, which states that there is more than enough to go around for everyone, so go ahead, be yourself and step right up and claim your 'piece of the pie'. - 16928
