There are several ways to get leads and find clients, however we have found that the internet provide the largest return on investment for our dollar. However we do not have enough dollars to compete with the big E-GIANTS, so here is what we decided to do about it. Niche Marketing, where you find an area, item or specific product that you do very nich advertising for. There are far and few between, but have the largest return for the dollar when you can find them.
Refferal Marketing is alive and well on the internet. That is E-Referral, where you network with other like mindes business owners on the internet and have them either referr you to their clients by email and you do inkind, or you have them add your web-site to theres as a ANCHOR link so you not only get the trtaffic but the help on the search engine marketing side.
get out your email list and use it. You have spent years building it, but dont know what to do with it or have not taken the time. EMAIL is a very cheap way to drive sales and referrals.
On Hold Music is a $200.00 investment I suggest making, it not only makes you look like a million bucks, but it is a great way to share new promos, new products and communicate a marketing message with out your help. Not to mention people who get put on hold with out music or a message to keep them awake are much more likley to HANG UP and that is never good.
Someone told me to invest in refrigerator magenets and I though they were crazy until I recieved a phone call one day about 1 year after I stopped sending them out in all my mail and realized that that one customer was worth about $2,300 to me and that I would not of recieved her call if it was not for the $1000.00 in mags I purchased years ago. Needless to say every piece of mail that leaves my office has on it it.
